28Oct1918 Mrs Carrie Cornish and Miss Florence C. Skinner entertained last week in honor of Mrs. John Sherwood's birthday. There were in attendance three ladies past eighty, Mrs. Helen Skinner, Mrs. M.H. Connor and Mrs. Delilah Beach. [wf of Hon.John Howard Beach]

Obituary
Florence Clinton Skinner, aged 70 [b.abt.1855] years, died at her home July 4, after three weeks illness. The funeral will be held Tuesday July 7 from her late home. Miss Skinner was a woman generally beloved. Wherever help was needed in sickness and trouble she was ever ready to lend a helping hand and heart. She fulfilled the mission, "In as much as ye did it unto the least of these, ye did it unto me." Her life of usefulness is closed, she has received her reward for a most unselfish life, and is deeply mourned by a host of friends. She is survived by two brothers, Amzi and Fayette Skinner of Milanville; one sister, Mrs. Caroline Cornish, and several nieces and nephews
