Florence Webb

Though not actually "partners" Florence was said to be Eddie's "secretary" when she accompanied him to Hong Kong. During a bombing run during the Japanese invasion of Hong Kong Dec 1941, both Eddie's legs were damaged. The medical team was supposed to save Florence first but she insisted on having Edward treated before herself.

She revealed to everyone Edward was Sir Robert's son and was able to pay for any medical costs. Due to insufficient doctors and nurses, Edward got the medical attention and Florence did not. She died, and Eddie lost both legs. Florence sacrificed herself for Edward.
