Forest McKee Reeves, 61, (1897-1958) Pleasureville, widely known Henry County farmer, died of a heart attack Thursday at his home. Until a few years ago, Mr. Reeves raised thoroughbred horses and sold them as yearlings. He was a member of the Pleasureville Christian Church and the Thoroughbred Club of America.
He is survived by his wife: Mrs. Sadie Blair Reeves; five daughters: Mrs. R. D. Roberts and Mrs. J. S. Robertson, both of Louisville, Mrs.B. E. Jones, London, Mrs. Lynn Allen, Eminence and Mrs. Ted Smith, New Castle; one son: Lt. Forest Leonard Reeves, Fort Knox; a half-sister: Mrs. Calvin Stephens, Alpha, FL and several grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thomas Fsuneral Home, Pleasureville. Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
