Forrest Merrill Pearson

PEARSON, F. Merrill- Of Grand Blanc, age 78, Sunday, September 14, 1986 at Heritage Manor. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 Hill Rd., Rev. Bruce Pearson officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Suggested visitation will be 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM today and Tuesday. Mr. Pearson was born in Stover, Michigan January 28, 1908. He had lived in Grand Blanc since January of 1940, coming from Rochester, Michigan. He married Sarah Defoe, November 10, 1926 in Sandusky , Michigan. He was a member of Fisher Body Local # 581 and a member of Burton Senior Citizens and Bowling Leagues. He was employed at Fisher Body for 32 years, retiring in 1968. Surviving are: wife, Sarah; 3 daughters, Thelma and husband Floyd Young of Flint, Margarete and husband Clinton Older of Grand Blanc, Evelyn and husband Kenneth Lee of South Branch; 2 sons, Lewis and wife Ruby of Flint, Carl and wife Marilyn of Burton; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Gerald and Vernon, both of Port Huron, Marvin of Clio; sister, Edna of Port Huron; several nieces and nephews.
