Forrester L Taylor

The President of the United States of America, in the name of Congress, takes pleasure in presenting the Medal of Honor to Captain (Infantry) Forrester L. Taylor, United States Army, for extraordinary heroism on 3 May 1863, while serving with Company H, 23d New Jersey Infantry, in action at Chancellorsville, Virginia. At great risk Captain Taylor voluntarily saved the lives of and brought from the battlefield two wounded comrades.
