About Frances Carter

Frances Ball was the first of three wives of John Carter (b. 1674), according to page 271 of The Descendants of Capt Thomas Carter.

Frances died less than a year after her marriage to John, 3 hours after delivering her only son Joseph, who himself died ten months later.
