Mrs. Elizabeth Howe Allen, 87, of Allen's Corners, Hampshire, died Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital. She was born June 17, 1870 in Harmony, daughter of the late William and Hannah Behnke Howe.. On Oct. 9, 1889 she married Harvey Allen and they moved to Allen's Corners where she had since lived. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Shine of Elgin; five sons, John, William, Ernest, David and Herman Allen, all of Hampshire; a sister, Mrs. Mary Schnulle, and two brothers, Fred and Walter Howe, all of Hampshire; 22 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren. Her husband died in 1934. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 from the Fredrick Funeral Home in Hampshire, Rev. Albert V. Ihne of the Hampshire Methodist Church officiating.
