About Frances A. McKendree

Frances was the fifth child of Jonathan Lyon, Esq. (b.1790) and Mary (Moye) Lyon (b.1791). In 1820, the Lyon family moved from Richmond County, to Washington county, Georgia, where they lived on a Plantation located on Limestone Creek at Sandersville. Frances was born there in 1828. After the death of her father, the family moved to Pierce county, Georgia before moving to the Fort Dade area of Hernando (now Pasco) county, Florida. Researched by Pat Lyons
