About Frances Iris Parkerson
Mrs. Frances Findley Hadden Parkerson, age 95, of Eastman, Ga., died Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro, Ga.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 7, in Southerland Funeral Chapel with Mr. Jerry Findley officiating, with interment in Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins, Ga., at 4 p.m.
Mrs. Parkerson was born in Emanuel County, Ga., a member of Eastman First Baptist Church and a retired civil service employee of Robins Air Force Base. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society in Statesboro. She was daughter of the late Mary Barbee Findley and J.M. Findley and was preceded in death by her husbands, John B. Hadden and Charles D. Parkerson. Frances was the last survivor of 17 siblings.
Survivors: daughter, Shirley H. Newman of Pembroke; two sons, John Wayne Hadden of Bonaire and Charles Edward Hadden (Alison) of Lynn Haven, Fla.; stepdaughter, Pam Baggett (Ferrell) of Plainfield; stepson, Chuck Parkerson (Penny) of Plainfield; nine grandchildren, Kenneth Stewart (Pam), Dee Kramer (Danny), Cory Hadden, Wyn Smith (Frank), Chuck Hadden (Brandi), Andrew Baggett (Taylor), Parker Baggett, Allie Parkerson, Dallas Parkerson; eight great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel one hour prior to the service.
