Frances Venables was born after 1596 in Cholmondeley, Cheshire, England (United Kingdom). Her parents were Sir Hugh Cholmondelay, the Younger and Mary Cholmondeley.
She is the sister of Sir Robert Cholmondeley, Bart, Earl of Leinster
Frances married Baron Peter Venables, MP, of Kinderton. Together they had the following children:
