Francesca married Vincenzo Rizzo on March 2, 1879 in Altavilla Milicia, Palermo, Sicilia, Italy. Together they had the following children: Vito Rizzo; Salvatore Rizzo; Maria Rizzo; Vito Rizzo; Vito Rizzo; Anna Lopresto (Rizzo); Vito Rizzo; Carmela Rizzo; Giuseppa "Josephine" Mareci (Rizzo); Carmella Rizzo.
On June 11, 1900 she arrived in New York on the SS Neustria with her mother, brother, and two sisters. Her passenger list notes that she was planning to meet her husband Vincenzo in Chicago.
She died on December 6, 1944 in Chicago, Cook, IL, United States and was buried on December 9, 1944 in Mount Carmel Cemetery (Section 20, Lot 5, Block 6), Hillside, Cook County, Illinois, United States.
