About Francis Joseph "Frank" Baron
ROYALTON -- Frank J. Baron, 86, Royalton, died Monday, June 9, 2003, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.
He was born Sept. 16, 1916, in Royalton to John and Bridget (Wochnik) Baron. After graduating from high school, he worked for Stodolka Construction as a truck driver, mechanic and equipment operator. He married Marie Gall on Oct. 22, 1941, in Buckman. He had a brief career on the Great Lakes oar boat "B.F. Afleck," and he also worked in carpentry before retirement. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Catholic Order of Foresters, National Rifle Association and Holy Trinity Parish.
Survived include his wife; a son, James Baron, Williamsburg, Va.; five grandchildren; three brothers, Ira Baron, Pierz, Ben Baron, Minneapolis, and Henry Baron, Edina; and a sister, Bernice Sufka, Rice.
Three brothers, John, Celestine and Louis Baron; and three sisters, Mary Patrias, and two infants, Angeline and Susan Baron, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Church in Royalton. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Brenny-Karlinski Funeral Home in Royalton with Christian Mothers and Daughters of Isabella rosary at 4:30 p.m., parish prayers at 7 p.m. and Knights of Columbus at 7:30 p.m., and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
