Francis Gerald Abaya

After his older brother Joseph Emilio Abaya resigned as first representative of the first district of Cavite upon appointment as Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Communication, he ran and won as representative in 2013. He would serve for three terms, ending his stint in 2022. His father Plaridel Abaya also served as representative of the first district of Cavite. A registered architect, he is a member of the United Architects of the Philippines.
