Frank grew up in the small town of Le Roy in Coffee Co., Kansas. He worked for his cousin, Stephen Edwin Post, at his department store in Aurora, Missouri. There he met his bride to be, Leo Porter. They were married 27 Oct 1907 in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. They located in the town of Great Bend in Barton Co., Kansas where Frank continued in the Dry Goods business.
Frank Post was secretary/treasurer of the Lischskey Dry Good Company which operated stores in Great Bend, Larned, and McPherson, Kansas.
