About Francis Henry Pugsley
Uncle Frank and his brother participated to the fights against Rommel in the desert and were in Marmousk as well as the Arctic against the Nazis.
He was also in charge of getting bodies back from the sea as a diver ( with scaphander), after he was sunk on 3 different boats.
He was medalled by the King for his services.
The painting is a painting of uncle frank at the Veterans Museum.
He was a kind, charming and loving great- uncle.
