About Francis William Thompson
Pop-Pop had a heart of gold and allowed my siblings and I to help him with so many things. We spent many weekends at his home, and after moving next door, we slept over many nights and walked across the yard in the morning to get ready for school.
He worked at Richardson and Robbins in Dover DE for many years. They made Underwood canned meat and Plum Pudding. He also took care of properties around the plant.
He had a large garden, digs and also grew grapes.
He was always tinkering in his garage.
