Franjo Fingler

Franjo was the founder of the football club Osijek and other important sports associations, a great footballer and he was a passionate philatelist.

Franjo was the son of the aristocrat Hugo Zimmer. Hugo ended his life by suicide because his family did not support the relationship with Franjo's mom. They are actually Romeo and Juliet at Slavonian way Hugo was a known as great benefactor.

After the war, Franjo fell into big problem with comunists with his mother, who with her other husband, Šefer, was part of the Nazi movement. But the love of his wife saved their lives and pulled they out of captivity through the influence of Bosiljka's brother who was very influential in the Partisan movement.
