WWI draft registration lists his date of birth as March 28, 1879 and lists his middle name as Norton.

Death takes Frank Barnes, Long-time Penfield resident

Frank N. Barnes, Gebhard Rd., entered into rest Monday, Nov. 11, l946, at the age of 68 years. He was a native of Mendon, but had been a resident of Penfield a number of years. Surviving are his wife, Lena Kier Barnes; one son, Hendrick of Rochester, four grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew. Rev. Clifford Robertson, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiated at the funeral yesterday afternoon at the Emery Chapel, Fairport. Burial was at Mendon.
