Leah and Frank married 29 Dec 1930 Wellington NZ, son of Sydney Simon Jacobs and Rebecca Jacobs. “The bridal canopy was held by two brothers of the bride, Messrs. Henry and Percey Keesing, and two nephews Masters David and Maurice Solomon of Wellington. The ceremony was celebrated at the residence of the bride’s parents, which was decorated with pink carnations and sweet peas. The bride was escorted by her father, wore a dainty full-length gown of soft salmon-pink satin; the sleeveless tight-fitting bodice slightly rucked, and the skirt flared. A tulle cape was worn with long tulle ends which reached the hem of the skirt, and her bouquet was of shaded pink roses, carnations, and sweet peas. Miss Maida Soloman, niece of the bride, was the bridesmaid… Mr. Arthur Jacobs was supported by his brother. He married Nancy Florence Wheatley 28 Feb 1946 after Leah died in 1940.
