MARTELLA FRANK PETER Entered into eternal rest on April 16, 2003. Born in Fort Bragg, California, March 16, 1918 to Clementina and Pete Martella. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Arlyne. Brother of his loving sister, Jennie Harvey of Fort Bragg. He adored his son, Marty Walter and daughter-in-law, Carol, Karen Ann Pimentel and son-in-law, Tom. Three very special grandchildren, Monte and Brandon Martella, granddaughter, Amy Allaire and her husband, Robert and one darling great grandson, Colton Allaire. Sadly missed his brother, Walter who died in WWII and brother-in-law, Jerry Harvey. Frank attended Fort Bragg High School and San Jose State University. He was in WWII, serving in the military intelligence. Started his professional career as a Teacher, Principal for 32 years and Personnel Director for 6 years with the San Lorenzo School District. He loved to work in his garden. Was an ardent and great trout fisherman. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, April 21, 2003 at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Fort Bragg, California. Interment at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Bragg, California. CHAPEL OF THE VALLEY MORTUARY 510-581-0900.
