Frank Rash, 83
Funeral services were held Friday from the Community Church of Union for Frank Rash, a longtime resident of Union who passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Malo Reece of Dobson, N.C., Monday.
Pallbearers were Earl Glenney, Phillip Hamm, Lee Benbow, Earl Sawin, Vern Hammer and Henry Williams. The Rev. Lester Gatch officiated with burial in the Miller Cemetery. Mrs. Edwin Biersborn was organist.
Frank Rash was born in Hardin county on Nov. 23, 1876, the son of Melvin Levi and Esther Lewis Rash. He spent most of his life in and near Union, being married to Emma Snow at the latter location in 1905. Three children were born to this union, Mildred of Dobson, N.C., Raymond of Orland, Fla., and a son who died in infancy.
Other survivors include seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Clifford of Union and Clayton of Gifford, and one sister, Mrs. Lee Glenney of Union.

The wedding of Miss Emma Snow to Mr. Frank Rash was solemnized by Rev. Hickman at the home of the groom's sister Wednesday. The bride has many friends at Bangor, where she has lived for a year and a half.
