In 1880 Frans Oscar Quick is still listed in Jefferson Co. Moving during the exit from IA to Nebraska. On Jan 9, 1889 Oscar was in Halford, Kansas where he bought 160 acres of lad from the Union Pacific railroad in Halford, On this land was a store which was operated by Oscar. A short time later his father Andrew O. Quick came to Halford and bought 160 acres, Jan 29, 1889, joining Oscar's land also purchased from the Union Pacific railroad. Returning to York, Nebraska in 1892 to marry. They returned to Halford, Kansas where their son was born.
Oscar and Andrew O. returned to York, Nebraska in 1899 from Halford and Oscar remained in York until 1909 when he went to Pueblo-Canon City area. Chester was going to school in Canon City in 1910. Immigration June 14, 1866--Enehögen, Grolanda, Västergötland, R, SE to America
