Engelstad, Fred CAMBRIDGE - Fred Engelstad, age 87, died Sunday, January 23, 1977 at the Veteran's Hospital, Madison. He was born September 28, 1889 in Deerfield Township. he was a farmer fieldman with the Rewey Cow Testing Association in Iowa County. Also he was employed by the Bowman Dairy in madison and later Madison General Hospital. Mr. Engelstad was married to Thelma Olson and she preceded him in death in 1958. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Deerfield American Legion and also a member of St. Paul's Liberty Lutheran Church. He is survived by nieces and nephew. Funeral servicews will be held on Wednesday, Jan 26, 1977 at 1:30 p.m. in ST. PAUL'S LIBERTY LUTHERAN CHURCH. Rev. James Steinbrecher officiating. Burial in ROSELAWN CEMETERY, Madison. Friends may call at the NITARDY FUNERAL HOME, Cambridge, from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25.
