LAURIUM YOUNG MAN MEETS DEATH FROM MINE ACCIDENT.
FRED SANDERCOCK SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES RECEIVED THANKSGIVING NIGHT.
Fred Sandercock, a miner, aged 27, employed in No. 16 shaft of the C.&H. mine died at the C&H hospital this morning from injuries sustained while at work Thanksgiving night. A fall of rock pinned the unfornate man beneath, crushing his skull.
A widow and 3 children residing at 122 South Pewabic street survive. The funeral services likely will be conducted from the M.E. church tomorrow afternoon.
Coroner Fisher will conduct an inquest today.
