Funeral services for Frederick Jacob Cannaday, 57, who died at 5:40 p.m. Friday at his home, 1605 Kirby Ave., following an extended illness, will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church with the Reverend Father E.J. Houlihan in charge. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Cannaday was a native of Newcastle, but came to Muncie when 12 years of age. He had been an employee of Kitselman Brothers for 18 years and was a member of the Eagles Lodge and of St. Lawrence Church.
Surviving are the widow, Julia; three sons, Harry, Alfred, and Leo Cannaday; a brother, Frank Cannaday of Muncie; a sister, Mrs. William Gillian of Muncie; and a grandchild.
