About Frederick John Nicholas Chopin
Frederick John Nicholas Chopin became a first class teacher of children.. He loved his work and continued to teach right up until his late 70's. His love of music coming from such a family, showed in his playing of the violin to accompany his wife Rosina in her singing, and also from playing all the classical records and attending the Concerts in London whenever he could. We were bought up in the sound of classical music playing. He was very proud of his family and especially his wife and her beautiful voice. He arranged a contract with the BBC after the War but she could not leave her children behind, so she denied him the opportunity to be her manager because of the children. She worked all her life to assist him in his travels and life style. He was a bon viveur in the strict sense of the word, never needing to over indulge whether in good food or drink. He savoured life to the full and was so positive it was a pleasure to be in his company for any length of time. He was kind and considerate and had a very wicked sense of humour.. He was a great teacher, friend husband and a great Dad too.
