Adam was first married to Anna Maria Hautsch and they had four children: Phillip, John, Catherine and Barbara.
His second wife whom he married on May 9, 1759, was the widow Elizabeth Meily Spittler. They had two children:Adam and Elizabeth. When Adam died at age 50, Elizabeth was widowed a second time at age 43 with three young children under the age of ten.
His will is recorded in the Lancaster County will book on page 2.
