Note : Frederick's middle name "Flower" appears 3 times; in the last 2 birth registrations in Victoria; for 1891 Frederick William Johnson and 1894 Robert Godschall Johnson, and on his own death notice.

Frederick's birth certificate could confirm this name.

Only his son Robert appeared to have officially been given the Godschall middle name at birth.

Other of his children appeared to have acquired the name "Godschall" later.

Also the surname commonly used is Johnson, not Godschall-Johnson.
