Born in 1875 he was an illegitimate child, however growing up he would receive large amounts of money from relatives which helped him live in good housing and get a good education having gone to Cambridge University in his youth.
In 1914 in September when World War 1 broke out Frederick enlisted and eventually would become a tunnel man and would lead a small group of people through tunnels in the Royal Engineer Corps. He left the army a year after the war and returned to working in law, restaurant management and being a part-time member of a gentleman's club.
It is known in the family that despite marrying twice and having been married for over 30 years to Katherine Alice Corner he was consistently unfaithful, mistresses, upper class and lower class were in large groups, and potentially he had more children than we know about, however somehow he was close to some members of his family including my great-grandfather Edward and his wife Gladys before she was shunned out due to class indifference.
Little is also known about his time in the Gentleman's club or who the other members were however, if there were details it would add more intrigue into his escapades and adventures as womanizer.
