He served 2 enlistments in the War of 1812. Occupation: Farmer.

He married abt 15 May 1802 in Gates Co., NC, Nancy Smith (buried at this cem.); they had the following children: Abraham, Samuel Harrison, Unkn b. bet 1807 & 1817; Penelope, Nancy R., Infant b. bet 1808-1807; James Hance, John H., Sarah Miranda, and Eliza Jane Laster.

After Nancy's death, Frederick married Delilah Basham, widow of Jonathan Basham.

Donated the land for the first cemetery in Harmony.

Question - Was this Frederick Laster the husband of Rachel Rhoads of Tennessee? Locations and dates are not adding up unless Frederick went back to Gates County to marry Nancy after Rachel died before 1802.
