About Frederick Pistorius
Frederick Pistorius, 95 died at his home near Blue Mound at 7:30 am yesterday. He was born in Germany, Feb. 24, 1850, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pistorius. The family came to the United States when he was a young man and settle near Boody. His wife was Mary C. Johns. She died 10 years ago.
Mr. Pistorius leaves two sons, O.A. Pistorius and Oran B. Pistorius and a daughter, Mrs.Redella Wieg all of Blue Mound. Two children died.
He was a retired farmer and a charter member of Zion church near Blue Mound. The body is at Moran & Son funeral home. Funeral services at Zion church Tuesday. Burial will be in Zion cemetery.
