1874 Q2 marries Helen Beswick Hewitt in St Pancras London. Ref 1b/163.

1881 at 116 Church Street, Wolverton aged 29 married to EB aged 29 with LH(6), BH(5) and FH(3): no full names given! He is a LNWR clerk.

1891 aged 39 and wife is Helen B also 39. He is a clerk and they live at 23 Buckingham St, Wolverton. Lucy H is a dressmaker at 16, Bessie H (15) and Frederick H (13) are scholars. Mary Hewitt (31), sister-in-law is an elementary teacher living with them. She was born in Crewe.

1901 now at 65 Buckingham Street and a railway clerk, aged 49. Helen (49) and Bessie(25) a dressmaker are the only other occupants.

1911 is age 59, a widower, a railway clerk LNWR ("all my life") at carriage works Wolverton living alone at 65 Buckingham Street, Wolverton. It shows that there was a fourth child that died (between censuses). Birth place given as Birmingham.
