About Friedrich (Fritz) Wilhelm Feilchenfeld

Friedrich Wilhelm Feilchenfeld was born in Teplice, Czechoslovakia, on 13 November 1878.

His marriage to Alice Marie Baehr-Predari was announced in the 20 December 1902 edition of Sport and Salon, page 10.

Doctor Fritz Feilchenfeld (28 years old) and Frau Feilchenfeld (31 years old) were on board the ship Hohenstaufen from Hamburg to Lisbon on 20 October 1906 [Source Citation: Staatsarchiv Hamburg; Hamburg, Deutschland; Hamburger Passagierlisten; Volume: 373-7 I, VIII A 1 Band 183; Page: 2522; Microfilm No.: K_1796].

In 1908 Friedrich Wilhelm Feilchenfeld published a book in Vienna of photographs on architectural masterpieces in Portugal,"Die Meisterwerke der Baukunst in Portugal nach photographischen Aufnahmen. I. Das Kloster "Dos Jeronymos" zu Belem. 30 Tafeln in Lichtdruck." The photos included one of Santa Maria De Belem Church.

He married Margaret (Daisy) Swanson about 1919 and is shown with her in the photo under his name. And he was registered as a lawyer in Vienna in 1919 [Amstsblatt der Osterreichischen Justizverwaltung].

In July 1927 he gave an interview to the Nevie Freie Presse in Vienna, condemning the burning of the Palace of Justice by Socialist workers of Vienna. He watched the fire from his office window.

He died in London in 1946.
