Frederich Andreas Raupach and Charlotte Antoinette Raupach were husband and wife. Receiving his medical degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1799, he came to St. Thomas in 1802 becoming the next year surgeon of the garrison and later the regimental surgeon. Charlotte Antoinette Holten was the sister of Christian Ludvig Holten (1774-1829) Lt. Col. & Commandant of St. Thomas. They had ten children: 3 boys and 3 girls who grew to adulthood. Two are named on the plagues. Maria Helene Elisabeth married on 11 November 1826 to C. G. Erichson, Royal Bookkeeper on St. Croix where he died in 1842 - aged 50 years. In the obituary he is referred to as "Councellor & Captain . . . Knight of Danneborg, & Royal Treausurer."
