About Fritz Bedřich Kron
Fritz Bedrich Kron was single and lived in Brno with his mother Malvina . His father died when he was a child. He was a handsome and interesting man and worked as a salesperson in a big fashion store in Brno. My mother Erica and her sister Noemi loved him very much. He visited them every summer in Trieste, Grado and Baden bei Wien.
His cousin Erica (Zudkowitz nee Kron - my mother) remembered: she received a good bye present from Fritz before she left for Palestina: a beautiful dressing gown from the fashion store in which he was employed. Unfortunately it was stolen in Kibbutz Givat Brenner. After working in the fields she went to the communal shower. She left the gown hanging there because she continued to the dining hall and did not think it proper to take it along. When she returned from the dining room, on her way to her room, it was no longer there.
Erica and Noemi suggested that he come to Palestine, too. He refused. Maybe he did not want to leave his mother alone.
He had two brothers from his father's previous marriage.
In the "Yad Vashem" records (List of Theresienstadt camp inmates) he is named Bedrich Kron, the Czech version of his name.
