..Obit:::: The Herald, October 8, 2010. -- ROCK HILL Mr. Furman "Grady" Mackey, 85, of Rock Hill passed away Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Mr. Mackey was born in Waxhaw, N.C., and was the son the late C. S. Mackey and Ellen Gordon Mackey. He was a member of Catawba Baptist Church and retired from the City of Rock Hill water department as assistant superintendent. He was a member of the Rock Hill Masonic Lodge 111, Hajaz Shrine Club and Woodman of the World. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mackey was preceded in death by his four brothers and his three sisters.
