Gaston Radio von Radiis

He was born 14. III. 1880. in Firenze, Italy. He was married 21. XII. 1912. in Wels. November 1912. he becomes director in Torpedoworks Whitehead Ltd in Fiume (of Vickers and Armstrong Whitworth), but he was in his Marriage trip in India and Ceylon till 1. III. 1913. After begining of WWI, when all British subjects were confined in Austria, R. become general manager in St. Polten, where firm was moved. After the end of WWI he come back in Fiume, but political situation was unfavorable for his atempts to renew the firm, so he went to Wiena.
