Death of Gen. Edwin Polk. Bolivar, Tenn., April 4. General Edwin Polk was taken ill on Saturday morning last with constipation of the bowels, and died this morning about 5 o’clock. —Published in Nashville Union and American newspaper (Nashville, Tennessee), Wednesday, April 5, 1854, p. 3.
