Died Aug 31, 1802 in Rivière-Ouelle, buried Sept 1, 1802. Daughter of Augustin Emond 1700-1770 & Marie-Ursule Migneault 1699-1758. Genevieve G. Emond & Jacques Roussel together had 9 children: 1) Marie-Theotiste 1767-1783; 2) Louis 1769-1840; 3) Lambert 1771-1838; 4) Marie-Louise 1772-1838; 5) Charlotte 1773-1793; 6) Joseph-Marie 1774-1774; 7) Pierre 1776-1777; 8) Henry 1777; and 9) Marie Mar 12, 1780.

Here is the main text of the act of burial: The year one thousand eight hundred and two, on September 1, by me priest vicar of this undersigned parish, was buried in the cemetery, the body of Marie-Geneviève Émond, aged about sixty-seven, wife of Jean Roussel dit Davia, farmer of this parish, deceased yesterday ...The vicar should have written wife of Jacques Roussel instead of Jean Roussel (R. Creamer).
