About George Adams, Sr.

George Adams Sr. was a Virginia colonist.

From Genealogy.com - "Re: John ADAMS/Katherine NAPIER descendants,"by Margaret Wells May 11, 2004.

George Adams was probably born about 1705.
He had the following sons:

  1. Matthew Matthew Adams,
  2. John,
  3. Abraham,
  4. Isaac,
  5. George Jr,
  6. Jacob,
  7. Daniel.

By testimony there were also several daughters, none of whom have been identified. Matthew, John, Abraham, Isaac, and Daniel all migrated to North Carolina between 1772 and 1778.
Jacob appears to have migrated to Patrick Co. VA based on various deeds involving land sales in Fauquier Co. We have no information on George Jr after about 1764 when he is a chain carrier for Henry Holtzclaw's land survey on Broad Run along with Benjamin Bristow.
