About George Bacon
He was the son of Thomas Bacon 1640 - 1702 and Mary Gamlin.

He married Mary Davis daughter of John Davis and Mary Devotion of Roxbury:

They had five children recorded in Roxbury: Mary, George, Hannah, Abigail and Edward. There may have been others.
He was killed by a falling piece of timber:
BACON: George "being at a Raising had a piece of timber fall upon him, and he dyed before the next morning." [died] Sept. 19, 1715 in his 41st y.- gravestone record, Eliot Cemetery
His widow married second to Nathaniel Carpenter.
