1. Biography .. George Barron was born in, Stockton, County Durham, England in 1861. His parents were Thomas Barron & Jane Grugan [Grogan]. He was christened on 6 April 1861 at Holy Trinity Church, Stockton-on-Tees, Durham. George married Sarah Ann Ashmore on 22 Apr 1889 in Bradford, Yorkshire. He was a Plumber. He was Plumbing Trade Union area official for the Middlesbrough area. Living at 5 Manor St. M'bro when he was admitted to a Newcastle hospital where he died in 1934, age 73. He was buried at West Lane Cemetery M'bro with his wife Sarah Ann Ashmore.
