About George Becher
- George Becher was the 9th child of Colonel Thomas Becher and his wife Elizabeth Turner. He was born on the 6th December 1678.
- In April 1689 Thomas Becher, his wife Elizabeth and seven children, including John and George went over to Bristol from Ireland, escaping the civil war. Unfortunately, poor George, aged only 11 died in Bristol and was buried at St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol on the 2nd of October 1689.
