George Edgecumbe Blatchford, II

George was named after his brother who predeceased him by 3 years. Both died when toddlers.

George was the 15th child of Alicia Windeatt and Reverand Samuel Blatchford D.D. His siblings were: Henry, Mary Milford Windeatt, Alica Windeatt, Sarah, Samuel, Thomas Windeatt (all born in England), Harriet Peacock, Samuel Milford, Richard Milford, John, Sophia, Frederick, George Edgcumbe, Charles Baynham (died at 10 weeks old), Ethelinda Jane and Edgecumbe Heath "Benjamin". Inscription:

"GEORGE EDGECUMBE Died Aug 21, 1808 aged 1 yr 25 days"

Across the bottom of his and 2 brothers' stone:

"Infant sons of REV. SAMUEL & ALICIA BLATCHFORD"
