George's obit gives his survivors as his wife, son, John Bright and daughter, Mrs. Henry Allen.
On 11 Nov 1909, The Courier-Journal, reports that George's will had been offered for probate. He leaves his wife, Mary, a home, and the rent from another house. He leaves his daughter, Sarah J. Allen, the house & lot that she now occupies. George's will says that he has left his daughter "10 to one" more than his other children &, if she doesn't provide for the others, the house should be sold. He gives to three of his grandchildren, the rent of another house. To another grandson, Ben Oyler, "who has never treated me with respect", he leaves $6.00. George's son, John W. Bright, get a 1/3 of the Tenth St. property.
