Final rites were held Sunday afternoon at Stoney Creek Baptist Church For G D Coley, 47, of Dorthes, who died Saturday in Park View Hospital in Rocky Mount from a heart attack. Dr Paul Russell andDr J W Kincheloe officiated and burial was in Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Coley was manager of the Rocky Mount Southern Oil Division of the Wesson Oil and Snowdrift Co., Inc. and vice president of N C Cotton Crushers Association. He served as secretary of the Red Oak School Board and was a member of the Dortches Ruritan Club.
