George Adam Cook

George Adam was the son of John George and Anna Maria Rohmann Koch. He immigrated from Germany to PA arriving in 1741. He married Anna Maria Froschauer and they had thirteen children: Jacob, George, Adam, Michael, Catherine, Barbara, John, Daniel, Christian, Mary, Ann Margaret, Peter. George Koch was a Private in the Revolutionary War from 1779-1781.

Inscription: In German script: "Georg Adam Koch was born into this world on 22 Jun 1719, died on 19 August 1785, and lieth buried here. When Thou awakest the dead on that day, stretch forth Thy hand unto my grave. Let Thy voice be heard, awaken my body and bear it, beautifully transfigured, to the chosen .... "
