Description: I am the granddaughter of George Arthur Cook and I have a few details which may be helpful.

George Arthur Cook was born 9 Aug 1892 in England. He Married Ethel Louisa Rosalind Snowden on 21 Feb 1920 at Sword Street, Brisbane. They had two children: Roy Arthur Cook born 9 Feb 1921 and Allen George Cook born 16 Jul 1924. Sometime after Ethel died, George remarried Martha Elizabeth Sims nee Swaysland. They did not have any children in this marriage and Martha outlived George. George died 16 June 1961 aged 68 years. George and Ethel were cremated and their ashes are together in a bronze casket with a pearl granite pillar in the garden Plot 32 Bed 3 Area 14 at Mt Thompson Crematorium & Memorial Gardens, Nursery Rd, Holland Park Qld, Australia. Roy Arthur Cook died 3 July 2000 aged 79 years. My Father, Allen George Cook will be 88 years old in July.
