George was the son of Samuel and Candace Dearborn of Plymouth. George's death record does not indicate parents nor give cause of death and records the death as July 19 and born Plymouth, no date. (This is a late return when the State started paying the towns to report deaths.) The 1850 census shows him age 4 with these parents in Plymouth and he had siblings Charlotte E age 8, John PH age 6, Sarah J. age 2.
In the 1870 census in Plymouth George P. was 24 still residing with these parents and had a sister Jennie S. age 22 (probably Sarah J.) and likely an Aunt Sarah B. Dearborn age 66. His parents were 62 and 55.
He married the year prior to his death. On Dec 23, 1871 he married Elizabeth Farley Drake, daughter of John A. and Emeline D. (Pike) Drake.
His wife and daughter are also buried here and her parents John and Emeline Drake. The other side of the stone is Morse (Elizabeth's second husband).
