George David Dedmon

George David Dedmon, of Red Bank, TN passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011, and is at peace with our Lord Jesus Christ. He was born May 3, 1948.

David retired from EPB and served six years in the U.S. Army National Guard earning Master Marksman.

David was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and a graduate of Red Bank High School.He was preceded in death by his father, Noah Dedmon and mother, Marietta Card Dedmon.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sherry Leffew Dedmon; daughter, Angie Dedmon Ellis; grandchildren, Haleigh, Hannah and Joseph; children by marriage, Christy Jenkins Roy, Janet Jenkins Payne, Chris Jenkins and Jeremy Jenkins; grandchildren, Tristan, Connor, Seth, McKayla, Ashlyn, Lilly, Chase, Caleb and Sophia.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, with Doctor Fred Steelman officiating.

Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN.
